Taveuni is lush even by Fijian standards, with rainforest, waterfalls, coastal villages, and flowering tropical gardens earning it the name Garden Island. It feels remote, green, and unhurried.
Across the Somosomo Strait, current carries nutrient-rich water over Rainbow Reef and brings Fiji’s soft corals fully to life. The Great White Wall is the best-known site, but the broader reef offers coral-covered bommies, anthias, schooling fish, turtles, reef sharks, rays, and a deep bench of macro subjects. The range assumes a nonstop or one-stop flight to Nadi followed by a domestic flight to Taveuni and local transfer.
